Morning Glory Carvings

A set of four. Each cup has a detailed drawing of a morning glory from a different angle. The rest of the piece is carved with vines, leaves, and closed buds. They have yet to be fired.

A Kiln At Home

We left the stuffing out last night. A nibbling critter got stuck and couldn't get out.

A small tea pot made as a demo for an evening wheel throwing class at Mud Slingers Pottery.
I hope to take it to The Indigo Tea Market in Historic Gold Hill after it's fired.

A small character I made with the "pinch pot" technique that has yet to be fired.

Purchased this 5.83 cubic feet electric kiln from Carolina Clay Connection in Charlotte.
We are now working on the most effective placement and wiring at home.
